Jenny is the co-founder of World Belly Dance Alliance, an organization dedicated to the preservation and betterment of the dance community. Her love of dance began with Hip Hop and then bellydance, and has expanded to include other styles such as Bhangra, Tribal Fusion, Hip Hop Fusion, and ATS. Jenny received her General Skills certification in American Tribal Style taught by Carolena Nerricio of Fat Chance Belly Dance and Megha of Devyani in 2009. As she continues her training, she is honored to have had the opportunity to learn from other dynamic instructors such as Morocco, Anasma, Kaeshi Chai, and Alicia of BellyCraft. Jenny Nichols, of Atlanta, GA, is one of the hottest rising stars in the Southeast and is coming to Charlotte, NC, to spill the beans on her fusion secrets! Her unique dance style reflects her passion and intensity for her art, and we are honored that she will be sharing her fire and sass with us! She will be focusing her instruction on her unique style that incorporates traditional bellydance elements with modern and hip-hop, coined “modern urban fusion” by Andye AndinhaNiakan. The workshops are geared towards intermediate and advanced dancers of all bellydance backgrounds, but spunky beginners who love a challenge are always welcome!
