Naima teaches her workshop "Ballet for Bellydancers: Lengthen, Strengthen, and Melt into Your Dance" at Open Door Studios. This workshop is for cabaret or fusion bellydancers with no ballet experience as well as bellydancers who want to learn how to incorporate previous ballet training into their dance. We'll strengthen and lengthen using Belly Barre exercises, identify key ballet elements to melt into your bellydance, and learn a mini-choreography to help you put it all together! Open to all levels but focused for intermediate and up.
